Blood Drive

Norton Community High School is hosting their annual American Red Cross Blood Drive from in the Stull Gymnasium.   Due to construction, we are asking that donors please park in the City lot east of the water tower or in the north parking lot and enter through the NCHS front entrance.   Please do not park in the student parking lot located east of Stull Gym.  Thank you for your cooperation and for helping to save a life!

Bluejay Boys Basketball Team

Qualifies for State!

The Bluejay Boys basketball team has qualifed for the state basketball tournament in Hutchinson starting on March 9. The boys defeated TMP in the Substate Final here at Norton. The boys will play Southeast of Saline on Wednesday, March 9, starting at 4:45. 
School will be dismissed on Wednesday at 12:15. Lunch will be served.  Busses will run at 12:15. There will be a community pep rally for the boys at Stull gym starting at 8:15 am on Wednesday. A win on Wednesday would mean the boys would play on Friday and Saturday. 
Congratulations to the boys for a great Substate Championship!

Shopko Donation

This winter the Shopko Hometown store in Norton collected customer signatures in support of Norton Community Schools. The Shopko Foundation has donated $2000 to the Norton Community Schools because of this effort. We would like to thank Shopko for their generious donation to our school district. This money will go towards  purchasing student materials for our district. We truly appreciate the effort of the Shopko shoppers and the Shopko Foundation in supporting our students at USD 211.

There will not be any school on Wednesday, February 23. Norton Schools will be hosting the MCL elementary music festival at the High School and the Junior High. 

Eisenhower Elementary will be holding parent/teacher conferences on Wednesday. 

Construction to Begin
Starting on Monday, February 22, work will begin on our building projects at Norton Community Schools. The first phase will be fencing of the construction areas at the high school, junior high, and Eisenhower Elementary. The parking lot in front of the junior high will be blocked and access to the front of the junior high school will be limited. There will be limited parking spaces in the high school parking lot for people coming to the junior high or high school. Please enter the Junior High through the south entry of the junior high.
Starting March 7, parking will also be more limited in front of Stull gym. Access to the front of Stull gym will be limited as well. Please be careful when driving in this area.

Access at the front of Eisenhower will remain the same at this time as most of work will be to the west of the building. There will be limited access to the west of Eisenhower Elementary starting on Monday, February 22.
